Free Printable Nativity Masks
We know how crazy the holidays can get, and we wanted to share this free printable nativity scene with our readers that would help bring the real spirit of Christmas into your homes. We asked Lynette and Stephanie Garner, the crazy talented illustrators over at SingAStory, if they would design these nativity printables for us. And boy, did they deliver! Just for you, they created a 15 PAGE PACK of gorgeous nativity masks and props. Thatâs right- 15 PAGES! Â
Whatâs included in your printable nativity scene pack?
Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus The Three Wise Men with their Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh The Innkeeper, a Shepherd, a Sheep, and a Donkey An Angel and the Christmas Star
All you have to do is print, cut, laminate, and attach each nativity printable to a craft stick! And voila- youâre ready for your own little family Christmas pageant with this free printable nativity scene!
How to use your Printable Masks
Once you have your free printable masks printed, cut, laminated, and attached to a craft stick, you are ready to start acting out your printable nativity scene! Just open up to Luke 2: 1-20 in your Bible and have the family act it out as you read along. OR if youâd rather, you can print off this nativity script complete with songs.
If you have a small family, each person will get to play multiple roles OR just invite all the cousins, grandchildren, and/or neighbors over and make a whole event out of it. {Remember, these are PERFECT printable masks for kids! They will LOVE them} Totally up to you! There are printable masks and nativity printable props for 10 different people. But if you have more than that, just print out extra copies of the animal, shepherd, and angel masks. This would also make a FABULOUS family Christmas gift for extended family, friends, and neighbors with young children!
Color Your Own Nativity Masks
Yep, thatâs right! Remember I mentioned the printable masks to color!? The SingAStory gals are sharing TWO different versions for you to choose from. For a quick and easy option, just print our free colored printable masks. For a fun family craft, print our black and white printable masks for kids and color your own!
This would also be a perfect option for a Christmas church lesson if you teach a class of young kids at church like I do. Let the kids color the printable masks while you tell the nativity story, and then act it out as a class. This is such a fun activity; all the kids will be wanting to do it again! đ TIP: When printing, make sure you select âfit to page.â Also, the eye holes are sized for young children. For teenagers and adults, you might need to cut the holes a little larger. This will quickly turn into a new Christmas tradition for your family if it isnât a tradition already.
